My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Maryl Berns. We first contacted Maryl when we were still living in the Chicago area and wanting to relocate. Right away, Maryl set us up to get email notifications of home listings in the Springfield area so we could start looking for a new home. Due to the high interest rates causing very low inventory at the time, we were unable to find a home before we moved so we had to rent for a few months. We were located out of her area, but she came so highly recommended that we still decided to reach out to her due to her connections. Sold a Single Family home in 2023 in Rochester, IL. Jamie has lied to us on several occasions in order to make a sale go through. Even after being told directly to cancel a selling agreement and to relist the property, she refused and continued to sell even though that stuck us with extra closing fees. Jamie assured us they that the buyer had agreed to cover these repairs costs but we see them listed on the closing papers. To hide this, she had an mobile notary appear and an elderly sellers home to sign these agreements without allowing her to consult an attorney. We heard of Jim fulgenzi on a radio ad with another couple. That couple had issues as well but managed to cancel their selling agreement. We were told that she tried to sabotage the sale of their home trying to lure away their buyer in some sort of revenge. so do not use her as a realtor.

He explained things to us that we were not aware of to help us through the process and stayed up late working out deals for us.
