Jim Fulgenzi is a local man, father of three girls, a Springfield native and was licensed in 1993. He joined RE/MAX, the #1 company in town in 1995 as a top producer. Jim serves on many boards and committees, all with one single objective: to advance his knowledge of his community and of the real estate industry. He works full time to provide the best service possible to his clients.

Maryl Berns

Maryl was born and raised in the Springfield area and initially joined our team in 2015 as flex-time administrative support handling all of our social media, promoting new listings and covering other administrative tasks as needed. Her strong desire to expand her knowledge in real estate led her to obtain her broker license and we are excited she has transitioned into this new role. With a degree in Business Administration from Benedictine University, Maryl has proven invaluable to the team’s success and she looks forward to serving the community and providing the best possible experience for her clients.

In her free time, Maryl enjoys travel and spending time with family & friends. She stays active with her two dogs and volunteers at local animal shelters.

Veronica Taylor

Associate Broker

If you need it from our team, Veronica will make it happen. Daily she keeps us on track, watching all deadlines, aids in keeping the team on top of production goals, organizes and maintains all active files and prepares closing folders, responds to client requests and so much more.

Her background in Social Work and Insurance is invaluable. As a licensed insurance agent, she worked several years servicing the Illinois and Missouri areas. Additionally, her degree from SIUE is in counseling. She is a Certified Counselor, CADC (Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor) and Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.,

John Mangiaracina

John Mangiaracina and his wife Karla, Springfield natives, have two boys and recently a little girl. John was born in Central IL, growing up primarily in Springfield providing him strong connections and ties throughout the Springfield area. Before pursuing his real estate career, John excelled in the banking industry. His years spent as a banker gives him a unique perspective and understanding of the financing side to real estate transactions.

We are excited to have Isaac as part of the Jim Fulgenzi Sales Force at Re/Max Professionals. After already being a part of the Re/Max family for years the next logical step was becoming a broker. Isaac has coupled his expertise in customer experiences and his knowledge of platforms and software to make buying and selling a seamless and stress-free journey. He feels that the most important part of making an investment in real estate is the journey it takes to get there and his goal is to insure that path is as easy as possible for his clients. His key to this includes a plan to educate them on both the best practices when preparing their homes to sell, keep them informed of market circumstances and changes as well as helping buyers find that perfect place to call home while also making a sound financial investment.
