Jim Fulgenzi is a local man, father of three girls, a Springfield native and was licensed in 1993. He joined RE/MAX, the #1 company in town in 1995 as a top producer. Maryl Berns

Maryl was born and raised in the Springfield area and initially joined our team in 2015 as flex-time administrative support handling all of our social media, promoting new listings and covering other administrative tasks as needed. Her strong desire to expand her knowledge in real estate led her to obtain her broker license and we are excited she has transitioned into this new role. With a degree in Business Administration from Benedictine University, Maryl has proven invaluable to the team’s success and she looks forward to serving the community and providing the best possible experience for her clients.

In her free time, Maryl enjoys travel and spending time with family & friends. She stays active with her two dogs and volunteers at local animal shelters.

Veronica Taylor

Chatham, has been home for my wife, our two daughters, and me since 2011, and we love being part of this community. I grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, and went to college in Minnesota, where I was lucky enough to meet my amazing wife.

I spent 20 years in the Air National Guard, flying KC-135s and taking on various staff roles. After my military service, I explored both flying and non-flying careers. Over the years, my family and I have moved 11 times, even managing a couple of rental properties, which sparked my love for real estate.

Concurrent to my work at RE/MAX, I work remotely for Boeing as a Navy P-8 training systems test pilot/engineer. I take pride in hard work, attention to detail, and being active in the community.

Andrew Arenz

Andrew, a central Illinois native, returned to the area in 2024 after a decade of service as a Field Artillery officer in the Army. He earned a business management degree from West Point.

His passion for real estate grew from buying and renovating homes during his military career, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges of buying and selling. His dedication, integrity, and problem-solving skills make him a strong advocate for clients.

Andrew was recognized for his leadership and volunteer work in the Army, excelling in logistics and training future soldiers.
